Bacterial Infections of the Intestines:
Beneficial bacteria are normal hosts of the intestine. They aid in producing some biochemical enzymes and molecules which help in food digestion and keep away bad bacteria. However, pathogenic bacteria can remove friendly bacteria and lead to bacterial infection in intestine. You must note that some of these bacteria which can trigger infection are a part of normal flora of intestine. Following are some of the pathogens which cause infections in intestinal tract:

They may cause several gastrointestinal infections in humans which turn them to serious complications. Following are the parasites which cause intestinal complications in the humans:

  • Hookworms
  • Pinworms
  • Tapeworms
  • Roundworms
  • Flatworms or flukes
  • Protozoan

Symptoms of Intestinal Infections in Humans:
