Deep Belly Fat Can Be Reduced By Consuming Soluble Fiber & Exercising Moderately!
Did you know that the fat lying immediately below the skin is not as dangerous as the one that is deeply rooted in the abdomen? And now, scientists have shown that soluble fiber taken through foods accompanied with moderate exercise can reduce this dangerous belly fat.
The new study conducted by a team of researchers from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center has shown that increasing the consumption of soluble fiber rich vegetables such as beans can reduce the abdominal fat rapidly.
Through the study it was found that over a period of 5 years, for every 10 gm increase of soluble fiber intake on a daily basis, the deep belly fat was decreased by 3.7%. Moreover, exercising moderately on a regular basis decreased the belly fat by 7.4%.
According to Kristen Hairston, the lead author of the study, our bodies can get 10 gm of soluble fiber from 2 apples, one half cup of pinto beans and a cup of green peas and moderate exercise means working out vigorously for 30 minutes at least 4 times in a week.
