Saffron and Korean Ginseng are Natural Aphrodisiacs
You may have tried tiger penis and rhino horn to increase your libido, but they are not effective. Do not worry. Scientists at the University of Guelph in Canada have studied the aphrodisiac powers of various plant and animal products, and they have identified a few potent substances.
Saffron and Korean ginseng are not only highly palatable, they are effective aphrodisiacs too. Ginger, garlic, cloves and nutmeg also showed moderate promise. This research is scheduled to be published in the journal Food Research International.
The study revealed that saffron is marginally effective in treating erectile dysfunction in males. But, it cannot be compared with Viagra. However, saffron does not have any side effects, which calls for further research.
Panax or red ginseng from Korea was effective in treating erectile dysfunction. It also improved arousal and sexual desire in both men and women. Like Viagra, ginseng also relaxes muscles and improves blood circulation in the genital area.
