Sacral Pain can be Countered With Anal lock

Sacral vertebrae are a series of bones in the back attached to the hip bone. They are in the form of a triangle in the bottom most part of the spine. Sacral pain is usually a sharp or an aching pain that is experienced in the lower back or sometimes in the butt.

But, sacral pain can be countered with anal lock which is also a very safe and effective way of treatment.

Causes of Sacral Pain: The reason for sacral pain causing so much discomfort can be accounted to the number of muscles attached to the sacral vertebrae at the back. The muscles connected to the sacral vertebrae include the pelvic muscles, leg muscles, cheek muscles, hamstrings, lower back et.

So, upon onset of pain it is not only necessary treating the sacral bones but also the connected muscles need to be checked.

The main reason for today’s increase in sacral pains are the modern day postures and work style which involve sitting in front of computers. Sitting or standing for indefinite continuous periods of time causes lower back tension leading to sacral pain.

Sacral Pain can be Countered With Anal Lock: But, there is a simple exercise that you can follow to alleviate sacral pain, which is anal lock.

  • An anal lock is nothing new to us and we do it daily when we are in the toilet. It is exercising the same muscles that needs to be mastered.
  • Releasing and contracting these muscles at the right time influences the nerves and blood flow in the back and strengthens the pelvic bone. Stimulation of blood flow automatically alleviates your sacral pain.

Performing an Anal Lock: An anal lock can be performed either in a sitting, standing or lying down posture. Irrespective of the posture chosen, the technique remains the same.

  • To begin with, anal muscles need to be contracted (anal muscles are the ones that you hold on to when you go to the toilet).
  • The contracted muscles need to be held as tightly as you can for at least 10 seconds.
  • Regular practice would ensure the tightening of the muscles in your sacral region. Also, you begin to develop muscle control.
  • After holding the contraction for 10 seconds, release the muscles very gently while slowly taking deep breaths and exhaling.
  • The above routine needs to be practised for a few minutes everyday before and after going to bed. You will be able to notice your sacral pain lessening.

Sacral pain can be countered with anal lock, but it is necessary to seek the advice of your doctor before exercising, especially if you are suffering from severe sacral and lower back pains.
