Your body should take a rest and regain its energy. Sleep is important for your health. It would be better for you to have at least six hours of sleep each night.
Your body brings many of the hormones back to their normal function. Sleep would be the part of your chronic pain treatment and improves it through proper exercise and stays away from drugs and foods that can interrupt your sleep.
- Professional Counseling
Professional counseling would be another part of chronic plan treatment. Your counselor will help you to deal with stress, disruptions and isolation which your pain can cause.
Medications might be prescribed for you to help with pain or other symptoms. Medications or drugs can be an important part of your treatment plan, but it is never the only answer to chronic pain.
You might want to do things that you are not able to do after your pain level is lower. Nonetheless, you have to do it steadily just like a student in the school.

Remember to alternate rest and activity.
- Make a Plan for Pain Flare-Ups

Remember, pain flares occur and rarely call for your doctor to visit or more tests. Record all things which might cause a flare up to you.
