Mary Engler, PhD, who participated in this research says, “It is likely that the elevated blood levels of epicatechin triggered the release of active substances that increase blood flow in the artery. Better blood flow is good for your heart”. This does not mean that you are free to eat as much chocolate as you like. The right amount and good chocolate is best to maintain the heart of your body. 1.6 ounce bar of dark chocolate per day is enough for your health. More than this amount is not good as chocolate will always remain a chocolate and its loaded with more calories.
