Health improvements: A Forbidden Area
Health care restructuring is has taken a back seat for the time being. The reason is that there is no additional provision for the health reforms. None of the bills are passed before crushing the waste of the current system estimated which is $700 billion to $1 trillion annually.
This waste is considered as the cost involved in the lawsuits for the doctors and this is how the doctors make money.
The congress leadership has turn down the solutions to the one reason of waste that is easy to fix i.e.; the erratic, expensive and time consuming jury-by-jury malpractice system. This is something which has to be taken into consideration. But the leaders seem to be less responsive to the experts due to the ongoing cost cutting measures.
In this situation, the solution is to set up a reliable system which spends nearly 60 cents of every dollar on lawyers’ fees and administrative costs.
