Food dyes reduce spinal injuries
In a new study conducted by the researchers has proved that the dyes used in the food might reduce the severity of the spinal injury at the initial stages.
The researchers strongly believe that the researches might set a platform to decrease the risk of paralysis followed by traumatic injury to the spine. The study has been conducted in mice and it found effective to reduce the after effects.
Improved studies and researches are yet to be performed on the area of practical treatment. The biggest challenge is to develop something which will reach the therapeutic level without turning being toxic.
According to the experts there is no effective cure for the patients suffering from spinal cord injury. The researchers are working on something which can be given to the patients immediately after the injury to avoid any secondary damage.
