First lady to visit Clinic for Low-income people
The first lady is visiting one of the clinics which are one among the proposed clinics to receive stimulus funds. There are 126 proposed clinics which will be given stimulus funds to provide health care for the low-income people.
The project has been done by 25 contractors. The construction was slow because of some electrical problems. The first lady Michelle Obama will cut the ribbon of the clinic.
The clinic will create jobs and will focus on preventive health care with the help of stimulus funds. The clinic might be able to avail the service for around 4000 people and create a certain number of long term jobs.
Mr. Obama also announced another $851 million for setting up more clinics through the stimulus funds. It might be used to construct and modify 1500 health centers all over the country.
