Drug shares on the rise due to swine flu

The companies’ share those make swine flu medications are on a high in the share market. This has been revealed by WHO in the situation wherein more than 20 countries and other territories have confirmed the cases of swine flu virus.

The shares are touching new heights and the investors are exited. It is said that the investors are more likely to invest on those who make variety of drugs for treating H1N1 virus.
The rising trend in the drug shares is a common thing during any epidemic spread. The government is likely to provide grants and more funds for the drug makers.

The shares of Novarax Inc have touched a two-year high of $4.40 and shares of Vical Inc touched a one year high of $3.96 on Nasdaq.

As per WHO, 816 people have died worldwide with swine flu till date.
