The following are the benefits of implementing smoke-free policies:

Reduced exposure to secondhand smoke: When an organization reduces tobacco use among employees, it protects non-smokers from secondhand smoke or environmental tobacco smoke (ETS). Non-smokers who are exposed to secondhand smoke are at high risk of diseases such as lung cancer, heart disease, asthma etc.
